Pentair Pentek EPM Series Cartridges are a modified version of the company's EP Series Cartridge. This cartridge offers an economical price point, making it a suitable option for taste, odor, and chlorine taste & odor reduction, as well as sediment filtration. EPM Series Cartridges are manufactured using a process that yields a cartridge with a nominal 10 filtration rating, high porosity, and chlorine taste & odor reduction capabilities.
The high porosity design of the EPM Series Cartridges helps prevent the cartridge from plugging before its adsorption capability is exhausted, maximizing the utilization of the carbon while maintaining a low pressure drop. These cartridges are protected by an outer wrap designed to significantly increase their useful life by trapping sediment that typically plugs carbon block cartridges.
The Pentair Pentek EPM Series Cartridges provide an ECONOMICAL SOLUTION for chlorine, taste, and odor reduction, as well as sediment filtration. These cartridges are designed to fit all 20" Big Blue Housings and other 20" heavy-duty housings, and can replace any 20" x 4.5" carbon water filter cartridge.
The HIGH POROSITY DESIGN of the EPM Series Cartridges helps prevent premature plugging, maximizing the utilization of the cartridge while maintaining a low pressure drop. The cartridges have been NSF INTERNATIONAL tested and certified, providing users with peace of mind.
Each EPM Series Cartridge has a 30,000 GALLON CAPACITY and should be replaced every 6 months or when a drop in water pressure or water quality is noticed.
